Hello, I'm Ben Stokes. Thanks for stopping by to my site. You must be really bored if you're reading this bit! :-)

I'm an IT professional, Linux hobbyist and blogger from south east England. I've been working in tech support teams since 1998 when I was placed with a global container shipping company as a helpdesk consultant, as a graded part of my degree course. After Uni finished I was lucky enough to be invited back to the world of container shipping, I went back full time and ended up staying for a good few years, long enough to cut my teeth with Active Directory, Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2003, Windows 2003 clustering and other interesting bits and pieces! Fast forward a few more years, I'm now working as a senior support engineer (server sysadmin) in the travel (holidays) industry and still loving working in IT.

Although family commitments have become increasingly more time consuming recently, I do also maintain another technical blog about Linux and Open Source Software. So if you ended up here because you were trying to figure out how to install Slackware on a Cobalt Qube3, you will probably want to click the link below. :)
